Head of the Protocol Department Receives Australian Ambassador to Iraq

Head of the Department of Protocol, Dr Ali Shamran Hachim, has received the Australian Ambassador accredited to the Republic of Iraq, Ms Paula Ganly, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of common interest and mutual keenness to develop the cooperation on all levels and in various fields. The Head of the Department affirmed the importance of the support provided by the Australian side to Iraq, expressing the readiness of the Department of Protocol to provide all means of support and facilities to ensure the success of the mission’s tasks in a manner that serves the interests of the two friendly peoples.

On her part, the Ambassador expressed her thanks for the good reception and hospitality, and for the support and facilities provided by the Department of Protocol to the Australian mission in the Republic of Iraq.
