Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences Meets the Mauritanian Ambassador in Baghdad

On 16/5/2022, Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences, Dr Abbas Kadhum Obaid, met the Mauritanian ambassador in Baghdad, Mr Hasan Aliyat, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation and coordination between the two countries in international organisations and mechanisms of mutual support in nomination for international positions. The two sides confirmed the importance of multilateral diplomacy in addressing many regional and international issues, the necessity of the presence in the specialized international organisations and agencies and their subcommittees, expressing the national positions, and benefiting from the exchange of experiences and mutual support.
