Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences Meets the Strategic Communications Officer of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Mission in Iraq

Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences, Dr Abbas Kadhum Obeid, has met the Ambassador Ms Laetitia van Asch, the strategic communication officer of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Mission in Iraq.

During the meeting, the Ambassador gave an overview of the roles played by the NATO Mission in Iraq. The Head of the Department of International Organisations valued the advisory, training tasks and the technical coordination provided by the NATO Mission in Iraq. The two sides affirmed the importance of continuing cooperation, joint coordination, exchanging information between the Iraqi national institutions and the NATO Mission, and providing technical assistance to realise the common goals.
