Head of the Department of Neighbouring Countries Meets Turkish Ambassador to Iraq

On 25/4/2022, Mr Ihsan Yasin Al-Awadi, Acting Head of the Department of Neighbouring Countries, met the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Mr Ali Reza Günay, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments, the relations between the two countries, the areas of cooperation, and ways of enhancing them on various levels. Arrangements were also discussed for a number of issues and topics of interest to the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides expressed their commitment to continue the communication and cooperation in a way that lives up to the aspirations of the two neighbouring countries.
