Head of the Department of European Affairs meets the head of the European Union Electoral Monitoring mission for Iraq

     Acting head of the Department of European AffairsPlenipotentiary Minister Mr. Tareq Adel Al Shaher met the head of the European Union Electoral Monitoring mission for Iraq Ms. View La Von and the accompanying delegation on Sunday 27/2/2022. During the meeting, the final report of the Parialamentary Elections of 2021 has been presented. On behalf of the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Fuad Hussain, Mr. Al Shaher thanked the EU for its role and has appreciated the efforts of the European Union Electoral Monitoring mission for their vital and important role to establish democracy for the electoral process in Iraq.

     Charge` d` Affairs of the EU mission in Baghdad Ms. Agna Gleveskaity has attended the meeting.
