Head of the Department of Human Rights Meets Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad

On 02/12/2021, Head of the Department of Human Rights, Plenipotentiary Minister Dr Ali Hilal met Mr Sattam Al-Dandah, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic in Baghdad.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the field of human rights, the international position on the human rights situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, developments in this field, and the position of the international community on this file. They also discussed the preparations for voting in the United Nations General Assembly on resolutions related to the Third Committee, as well as the preparations for the upcoming session of the Human Rights Council, which will be held in Geneva early next year.
