Head of the Department of Human Rights Meets the Director General of Al-Nahrain Centre for Political Studies

Head the Department of Human Rights, Ambassador Dr Hisham Al-Alawi, accompanied by a number of the Department’s employees, has met Mr Ali Nasser Bunyan, Director General of the Al-Nahrain Centre for Political Studies. During the meeting, they discussed the issues related to the enhancing of human rights, as the Ambassador suggested the possibility of activating joint cooperation to hold seminars and symposiums in areas related to human rights to familiarize international organizations working in Iraq with the efforts exerted by the Iraqi government in the field of enhancing human rights and implementing its international obligations in the light of the international conventions to which Iraq has acceded.
