Undersecretary for Policy Planning Affairs Conducts a Field Visit to the Consular Department

 The Undersecretary for Policy Planning Affairs, Dr Saleh Al-Tamimi, has conducted a field visit to the Consular Department, accompanied by the head of the Consular Department, Mr Mukhles Ali Rajab, and the head of the engineering Department, Dr Muhammad al-Dabbagh, and the senior cadre of the Consular Department to follow up the workflow in the Department, the construction process and rehabilitation works for the consular building,  make observations in the public interest and provide the best services to applicants. He also visited the sections of authenticity and authentication of documents, as he affirmed the need to achieve all overdue consular affairs of applicants and complete them as soon as possible. The Undersecretary was briefed on the work of the “My Document” programme and the “ICAS” programme, which is to be launched soon as practical steps in the process of digital transformation and automation in the consular affairs.
