Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Jordan Emphasizes the Strengthening of relations between the two countries to move forward in Enhancing Security and Stability

 The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr Haider Al-Athari, has affirmed the Iraqi government’s keenness to maintain the special relations between the two brotherly countries on various levels, pointing to the importance of opening further prospects for cooperation and partnership to serve mutual interests, especially at the level of parliamentary work.

This comes during his meeting with the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Mr Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi in Amman, in the presence of Counsellor Ahmed Hassan, director of the bilateral relations department of the Embassy.

On his part, Mr Al-Daghmi stressed his country’s continued support for efforts to enhance the security and stability of Iraq, as Iraq constitutes the strategic depth of the Kingdom of Jordan.
