Head of the Department of Human Rights Discusses the latest Developments in the Field of Human Rights with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Dutch Embassy to Iraq
The Acting Head of the Department of Human Rights, Minister Plenipotentiary, Dr Ali Hilal, has met the Chargé d’Affaires of the Dutch Embassy to Iraq, Mr Rochus Pronk, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
They discussed the latest developments in the field of human rights, preparations for the next session of the Human Rights Council, coordination and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of protection and enhancement of human rights, as well as the other files in multilateral relations of common interest.
They also touched on the possibility of enhancing the cooperation in the field of water security to provide clean drinking water to citizens being a basic human right, and the importance of benefiting from the Dutch experience in this field in coordination with the relevant Iraqi authorities.
