Head of the Department of Arab Affairs Meets Chargé d’Affaires of the Kingdom of Morocco to Iraq

On 9/1/2022, the Acting head of the Department of Arab Affairs, Osama Mahdi Ghanem, met the Chargé d’Affaires of the Kingdom of Morocco to Iraq residing in Amman, Mr Abdel Karim Bin salam, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the bilateral relations, and mutual keenness to develop them in all fields.

The head of the Department of Arab Affairs expressed Iraq’s pride in the historic and strategic relations between Baghdad and Rabat in their political, economic, security and cultural dimensions, commending the consensus of visions and positions of the countries on all current issues in the common interest of the two brotherly countries and working to reopen the Moroccan Embassy in Baghdad.
