Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences Meets Director of the Office of Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in Baghdad

On 05/01/2022, Dr Abbas Kadhem Obaid, Acting Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences, met the Director of the Office of Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in Baghdad, Mr Salah Al-Haj Hasan, to deliberate on the main common topics between Iraq and the Organisation, including Organizational procedures for Iraq to host the 36th Regional Conference for the Near East and North Africa region of the aforementioned organisation.

The Head of the Department of International Organisations and Conferences affirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide support in coordination with the concerned Iraqi ministries for the success of Iraq’s hosting of this international event.
