The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its sincere condolences and solidarity with the friendly Republic of India, on the incident of the collapse of a suspension bridge in the Machu River in the state of Gujarat in western India, which caused the loss of the lives of a number of civilians and others injured.

In this hour of grief, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sends its deepest condolences to the government and people of the Republic of India, asking for God’s mercy for the victims, and a speedy recovery for the injured.
