Undersecretary for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Offers Condolences on the Passing of Queen Elizabeth II

The Undersecretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Safia Talib Al-Suhail, accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry, have offered her condolences to the people and government of the United Kingdom and to the royal family on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, at the ceremony which was held by the British Embassy in Baghdad. The Undersecretary emphasized the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries, commending the role of the late Queen in strengthening and developing them, confirming that she will be remembered as an influential monarch in the most important stages of contemporary history, particularly the political and societal aspects.
