Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives a Copy of Credentials of the new Ambassador of State of Kuwait to Iraq

 Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Fuad Hussein, has received a copy of the credentials of the new Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Mr Tarik Abdullah Al-Faraj. The Minister wished the Ambassador success in his diplomatic Tasks in Baghdad, expressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all support for the success of the task of the diplomatic mission, referring to the necessity of work and cooperation in the interest of the two brotherly countries, pointing out that the bilateral relations between the two countries are special, important and based on mutual respect, affirming the need to build strong economic relations between the two neighbouring countries, and the political geography of the two countries is a contributing factor, and both countries play an important role in consolidating stability in the region.

On his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance the bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait, stating “Basra Province constitutes an important point and plays an important role in consolidating our bilateral relations”.
