Head of the Administrative Department presides the delegation of the Republic of Iraq participating in the meetings of the 102nd regular session of the Permanent Committee for Administrative and Financial Affairs
Plenipotentiary Minister Dr Ihsan Allawi Hussein, Head of the Administrative Department, has presided the delegation of the Republic of Iraq, participating in the meetings of 102nd regular session of the Permanent Committee for Administrative and Financial Affairs, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, which included First Secretary Dr Haider Ismail Salih, Director of the Arab League Department of the Department of Arab Affairs.
The meetings of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Committee of the League of Arab States are held to discuss many important administrative and financial matters pertaining to the League of Arab States and the contributions of Member states.
During the meetings which lasted two days, they discussed the activities of the General Secretariat between the two sessions (157-158) of the Council of the League of Arab States and the measures taken to implement the resolutions of the Council, the financial situation, the position of member states in respect of the payment of assessed contribution, the support and donations provided to the General Secretariat, and the budget of the General Secretariat for 2023, in addition to the budgets of the High Arab Institute for Translation, the Arab Fund for Technical assistance to African Countries, and the Arab Ammunition Project.
