Undersecretary Omar Al-Barazenchi affairms the Ministry’s full readiness to support accredited diplomatic missions in Iraq in a way that enhances their work and overcomes all obstacles and difficulties they face

The Undersecretaryfor Administrative, Technical and Legal Affairs, Mr Omar Al-Barazenchi, has affirmed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ full readiness to support the accredited diplomatic missions in Iraq, in a way that enhances their work and overcomes all obstacles and difficulties they face.

This came during his meeting the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Iraq, Mr Cui Wei, at the Ministry’s headquarters, with the presence of the Head of the Department of Asia and Australia, Mr Haider Radhi Nassir, and the Desk’s officer.

The Chinese ambassador congratulated the Undersecretary on his assumption of his new position, wishing him, stating that there are a lot of commonalities between the two friendly peoples, as Iraqi and Chinese civilizations  are among the most four ancient of the world, and both countries are proud of their territorial integrity and sovereignty. The Chinese ambassador also expressed his pleasure for the significant support which he had received from the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at various levels since the assuming of his position as Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Iraq.

The two sides discussed the strong relations between the two friendly countries, and ways of consolidating them at all levels, and the developments of bilateral relations, in a way that serves the common interests, and reflects positively in all political, economic, cultural and security fields.
