Minister of Foreign Affairs Invites Croatian Companies to Work and Participate in Reconstruction of the Infrastructure of Iraqi Cities

 Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein invited the Croatian companies to work and participate in the reconstruction of the infrastructure of Iraqi cities, affirming that the Iraqi markets are open to investment, and there are opportunities for investment companies to work in Iraq after achieving a great victory over ISIS, referring to the importance of continuing exchange of visits between officials of the two countries, given the impact on deepening cooperation and increasing coordination on various fields, revealing that he will visit Croatia soon within the framework of enhancing the joint cooperation between Baghdad and Zagreb.

This came during his meeting with the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Gordan Grlić-Radman, on the sidelines of their participation in the ministerial meeting of the International Coalition to Combat ISIS, which is being held in the city of Marrakesh, Kingdom of Morocco.

On his part, the Croatian Foreign Minister confirmed the importance of opening prospects for the cooperation between Iraq and Croatia on all fields, most importantly, the economic cooperation, encouragement of investment, the elimination of double taxation and oil energy, stating that Croatia is well known for its companies and experience in the construction sector, and it could form a starting point in the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
