Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Policy Planning Meets Dean of the Egyptian Institute for Diplomatic Studies

Dr Salih Hussein al-Tamimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Policy Planning, Acting Dean of the Foreign Service Institute, has met with the presence of Dr Ahmed Nayef Rasheed al-Dulaimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States and His accompanying delegation, Ambassador Walid al-Hajjaj, Dean of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies, at the building of the Egyptian Diplomatic Institute.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries. The Undersecretary touched on the development that had taken place in the Foreign Service Institute and digital transformation and how to find modern ways to develop the skills and competencies of employees in the field of promotion courses and new applicants.

On his part, the Dean of the Diplomatic Institute gave an explanation about the Institute, the admission mechanism and the courses it holds, and confirmed that the Diplomatic Institute is ready to cooperate with the Foreign Service Institute,  expressing his appreciation of this experience, the method and the development witnessed by the institute, hoping that a memorandum of understanding between the two institutes would be signed  to improve the efficiency of employees and develop their capabilities and functional skills.
