The Diplomacy of Restitution Recovers (337) Artefacts from Lebanon

 On 06/02/2022, Iraq recovered (337) artefacts as clay tablets. The event has come in an official ceremony at the Lebanese National Museum, attended by the ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Lebanon, Mr Haidar Shiaa’ al Barraq and the Committee of the Official Order No.1 for 2022, formed in the Republic of Iraq for this purpose. The Lebanese Minister of Culture, Mr Muhammad Murtadha, and Nabu Museum Board member, Mr Jawad Nadim Adrah have also attended the ceremony.

   These artefacts belong to various Mesopotamian historical periods.
