Head of the Department of Arab Affairs Meets Mauritanian Ambassador in Baghdad

The head of the Department of Arab Affairs, Dr Osama Mahdi Ghanem, has met the Mauritanian Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr Al-Hassan Mohammad Aliyat. The head of the Department of Arab Affairs congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment as Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq, wishing him success in his mission.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Nouakchott, and ways to develop them, affirming the necessity of holding the Iraqi-Mauritanian joint committee, work, and coordination in the security and intelligence fields.
