Ministry Undersecretary for the Policy Planning Affairs receives the Consul General for Bahrain Kingdom to Najaf and Charge d’affaires of the Embassy of Bahrain Kingdom to Baghdad

The Ministry Undersecretary for the Policy Planning Affairs (Dr Salih Hussein Al Tamimi) has received the Consul General for Bahrain Kingdom to Najaf (Ambassador Abdul Lateef AL Sakran) and Charge d’affaires of the Embassy of Bahrain Kingdom (Mr Khalid Al Mansour) to Baghdad. The Undersecretary has presented his congratulation to the Ambassador for assuming his position in Iraq as a Consul General in Najaf.

During the meeting, they have discussed developing bilateral and consulate relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop it. The Undersecretary has clarified that the Ministry is ready for full cooperation with brotherly Bahrain Kingdom in multiple fields. He adds that Iraq has distinguished relations with his Arabs brothers, especially with Bahrain. Thus, Iraq is working to develop these relations in different fields; the Ministry supports the work of Consulate General for Bahrain Kingdom in Najaf.

Also, they have discussed the issue of facilitating visas issuance for citizens of both countries and the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding to exempt the diplomatic and service passports between the two countries in this regard.
