Head of the Department of Arab Affairs Meets the Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Najaf and Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Baghdad

The Acting Head of the Department of Arab Affairs, Mr Osama Mahdi Ghanem,has met the Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Najaf, Ambassador Abdul latif Jasem Al-Sakran, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Baghdad, Mr Khaled Al-Mansour, at the ministry’s headquarters. The Head of the Department of Arab Affairs congratulated Ambassador Abdul Latif Al-Sakran on his appointment as Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Najaf.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields, in a way that contributes to opening new prospects for cooperation. The head of the Arab Department affirmed the ministry’s readiness to fully cooperate with the sister Kingdom of Bahrain thereby enhancing the evolving relations in various fields, adding that Iraq has historic and social relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, and that the ministry will provide all the necessary facilities for the work of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Najaf.
