Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine Receives the President of the Ukrainian- Iraq Parliamentary Friendship Group

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine, Minister Plenipotentiary Dr Hussain Abbas Hussain in his office in the Embassy building, has received the Member of the Ukrainian parliament, the Co-President of the Ukrainian- Iraq Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr Andrey Vladimirovich Bogdanets.

During the meeting, they reviewed the developments of the political situation in Iraq, the success of the recent legislative election, as well as the ongoing steps to hold the first session of the new Iraqi parliament which would result in the formation of the competent parliamentary committees, confirming the need to continue working to enhance the parliamentary cooperation between Iraq and Ukraine through the coordination between the parliamentary friendship groups in the two countries and the exchange of visits between them.
