On 21/10/2021, The Acting Head of the Protocol Department, Dr Ali Shamran Hajim, received Mr Jang Kyung-wook, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Baghdad, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the cooperation and partnership in various fields. The head of the department emphasized the importance of the relationship between Baghdad and Seoul, expressing the Protocol Department’s readiness to provide all support and facilities to ensure the success of the mission’s work.
On his part, the Ambassador extended his thanks for the warm reception and hospitality, and for the support provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/ Protocol Department to the Korean mission in the Republic of Iraq.
