Head of the International Organisations and Conferences Department Meets Greek Ambassador in Baghdad

 On 21/10/2021, the Head of the International Organizations and Conferences Department, the Minister Plenipotentiary Dr Abbas Kadhem Obaid, met the Greek Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr Leonidas Contovounesios, , at the Ministry’s headquarters.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and mechanisms of the mutual support in the international organizations. The Greek Ambassador commended Iraq’s positions at the international level and the two countries’ agreement on the various issues, including action programmes for climate change, and coordination on issues of the mutual interest that will be presented in the international forums related to the environment and climate.
