The Head of the America Department Meets the Brazilian Ambassador in Baghdad

On 25/10/2021, The Acting Head of the America Department, Minister Plenipotentiary Mayada Abdullah Yasin, met Mr Luis Evaldo Santos, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Baghdad, at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and mechanisms for enhancing them in various political, economic and cultural fields. They also touched on the draft memoranda of understanding with regard to the cooperation in the fields of agriculture, trade, economy, and the technical and cultural aspect.

On his part, the Brazilian Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation with Iraq due to its importance and an active role in the Middle East.
