Head of the Arab Affairs Department Meets Tunisian ambassador in Baghdad

The acting head of the Arab Affairs Department, Osama Mahdi Ghanem, has met   Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia in Baghdad, Mr Redha Zguidan.

 During the meeting, they have discussed the latest developments in the Tunisian Republic, and the preparations for holding the meetings of the Iraqi-Tunisian Joint Committee in its 17th session, which will hopefully be held in Baghdad in the middle of March 2022. They also discussed ways of enhancing the bilateral relations and resuming the meetings of political consultations between the Iraqi and Tunisian sides.

On his part, the Tunisian Ambassador congratulated the success of the Iraqi parliamentary election on 10/10/2021, wishing progress, prosperity and development for the people and government of Iraq.
