Deputy Head of Organisations and International Conferences Meets Australian charge de Affaires in Baghdad

Dr Ihsan Alawai Minister Plenipotentiary, the deputy Head of Organisations and International Conferences has met the Australian Charge De Affaires in Baghdad Mr Glein Elisson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 27/10/2021, both sides reviewed the issues of mutual interest submitted in the international organisations. They discussed the means of cooperation and coordination between the two countries especially the environmental aspect and providing the support and expertise in the field of renewable energy and climate change.

Both sides touched upon the Parties Conference referred to in the United Nation’s convention for climate change (COP 26) and its importance scheduled early next month to be held in Glasgow – United Kingdom.
