The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs has met the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the UAE and emphasized the importance of holding the tenth period of Iraqi-Emarati joint committee in Baghdad to accomplish Memoranda of Understanding and the agreements between the two countries

 The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Fuad Husain met Minister of the State of Foreign affairs of UAE Mr. Khalifa Shaheen Al Marir at the UAE pavilion in the Dubai- Expo Exhibition 2021. During the meeting the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries. Mr. Husain praised the development of the relations of the two countries in various aspects, and he emphasized the necessity of cooperation in the regional and international issues, and he referred to the importance of supporting the economic aspect and the commercial cooperation and investment. And he emphasized the Iraq Keenness to hold the tenth Iraqi-Emirati joint committee in Baghdad to accomplish the Memoranda of Understanding and agreements between the two countries.

    The Iraqi Minister of Foreign affairs called on Emirati companies and investors to support the Iraqi investment market. His Excellency referred to the Iraqi government procedures, which contributed to facilitating the investment opportunities. He emphasized the importance of the bilateral commercial exchange between Iraq and UAE.

     On his part , the Minister of State for Foreign affairs of UAE emphasized on the fraternal relations between the two countries and the keenness of UAE to enhance the bilateral cooperation mechanisms. He referred to the importance of Iraq and its role in the region and stressed on the growth of the bilateral interests in various fields  which consolidate the interests between the two countries. He referred to the directions of UAE leadership by opening up to  Iraq , Finally he thanked the Iraqi Minister of Foreign affairs for his participation in the opening of the Iraqi pavilion in Dubai Expo Exhibition 2021.
