Foreign Minister meets his Kuwaiti counterpart in Belgrade
The Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement group and the celebration of the 60th anniversary of holding of the first conference of the movement currently being held in Belgrade in Serbia.
During the meeting, regional and political developments in the region were reviewed.
Mr. Hussein presented a review of the electoral process, and reviewed the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries.
Sheikh Al-Sabah affirmed Kuwait’s standing by Iraq and its support for it, referring to the visit of the Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to Kuwait, as well as the visit of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to Iraq and his participation in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, wishing Iraq and its people prosperity and progress.
The two sides stressed the importance of exchanging visits and continuing the meetings of the joint committees to resolve outstanding issues.
