Head of Human Rights Department meets Chargé d’Affairs of Japanese Embassy in Baghdad

The Head of the Human Rights Department, Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Ali Hilal, the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of Japan in Baghdad, the Minister Plenipotentiary Nakagawa Chu.

They dealt with the positions of both Iraq and Japan within the various United Nations mechanisms, including the Human Rights Council and the treaty committee’s elections, as well as joint coordination within the group of Asia and Pacific to realize the aspirations of the two friendly countries in the field of promoting and protecting human rights.
