The Minister of Foreign Affairs receives copy of credentials of new German Ambassador to Baghdad

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received on Monday, 4/10/ 2021, a copy of the credentials of the German Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Martin Jäger. 

They discussed relations between Iraq and Germany, and ways to advance them to meet the aspirations of both peoples.

Mr. Hussien praised Germany’s supportive stances to Iraq, especially its assistance in the war on ISIS terrorist gangs, calling on German companies to invest, especially in infrastructure reconstruction projects.

He affirmed his support for the efforts of the new ambassador to strengthen relations between Baghdad and Berlin, and to develop bilateral cooperation to achieve common interests. 

He also wished the ambassador success in his duties, and expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all facilities to the diplomatic mission of Germany.
