Ambassador Haider Al-Barrak presents his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to President of Lebanese Republic

Ambassador Haider Shaya Al-Barrak presented his credentials to His Excellency the President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Aoun, on Tuesday, 28/9/2021, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to the Lebanese Republic.

A special ceremony was held on this occasion in Baabda Palace, where the military band played the Iraqi and Lebanese republican anthems and Mr. Aoun and Mr. Al-Barrak paraded the guard of honor. 

President Aoun expressed his happiness at receiving the ambassador, praising the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation for Iraq’s supportive stances for Lebanon.

Mr. Al-Barrak affirmed Iraq’s support for brotherly Lebanon and its determination to develop and expand bilateral relations to serve the two brotherly countries.
