Minister of Foreign Affairs meets his Cypriot counterpart and signs memorandum of understanding exempts holder of diplomatic, service and special passports from entry visas to both countries
Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met, on Wednesday 22/9/2021 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, they reviewed regional and international developments and their repercussions on international peace and security. They also touched on bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in the political, economic and cultural aspects.
They emphasized the importance of coordinating positions of issues of common interest raised in international organizations.
The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to exempt holders of diplomatic, service and special passports from entry visas to both countries for the purpose of facilitating and exchanging visits between the two countries to serve their common interests.
