Head of the Ministry’s Arab Department Receives the Kuwaiti Chargé d’Affairs in Iraq

Dr. Osama Mahdi Ghanim ,the Acting Head of the Arab Department, met the Kuwaiti Chargé d’Affairs in Iraq, Mr. Salah Al-Bannai

 During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them to meet aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. They also discussed regional and international issues of common interest.

Mr. Ghanem praised Kuwait’s supportive stances for Iraq, pointing out to the intimate relations between the two countries, calling for more cooperation and coordination in all fields.

For his part, the Kuwaiti Chargé d’Affairs affirmed his country’s support  to Iraq, especially in the field of combating terrorism and restoring security and stability in the country, expressing Kuwait’s readiness for the economic cooperation and increasing the volume of investment between the two countries.
