Ministry’s Senior Undersecretary Meets Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Iraq

The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nizar Al Khairallah, on Tuesday 21/9/2021, met with the Tunisian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Redha Zgaidan.

 The two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries in the political, economic and cultural arenas in light of the great potentials that the two countries possess, in addition to the internal political developments and the most prominent challenges that the political transition process in Iraq and Tunisia went through.

The two sides reviewed the political and security challenges and problems some countries are witnessing and their repercussions on the Arab region, and the importance of concerted international efforts to confront these challenges.

 During the meeting, Mr. Al Khairallah stressed Iraq’s keenness to strengthen relations of friendship and strategic cooperation with the Republic of Tunisia, pointing out to the commonalities and great potentials available to enhance bilateral cooperation, and the need to work together and make more efforts to raise the level of relations between the two countries.
