Foreign Minister Arrives in New York to Participate in the 76^th. Session of the UN General Assembly

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein on Sunday 19/9/2021, arrived in New York to attend the works of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, and to represent Iraq in a number of meetings that will be held on the sidelines of the meetings.

It is expected that the Minister will meet with foreign ministers and officials of a number of countries in the world to discuss and enhance bilateral relations, make efforts to continue their support for Iraq, contribute to the reconstruction of the infrastructure of Iraqi cities, and clarify Iraq’s foreign policy and its active role in enhancing security and stability and achieving effective economic partnerships, within the framework of the government preparations for the elections scheduled for 10^th. October .
