Head of Asia and Australia Department Meets Indian Ambassador in Baghdad

Dr. Ali Yassin Muhammad Karim, Head of Asia and Australia Department, met on September 7, 2021 the new Indian Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. PrashantBisai, , on the occasion of assuming his duties in Iraq.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of cooperation between the two countries, as well as unifying efforts to support initiatives aimed at achieving international peace and security.

Topics related to the completion of agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries were also discussed in the meeting.

For his part, the Indian Ambassador appreciated the good hospitality and warm reception expressing his country’s desire to develop bilateral relations between Iraq and India for the interest of the two friendly peoples.
