Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs Meets Regional Director of the International Peace Institute in Middle East and North Africa

The Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs, Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi, met with the Regional Director of the International Institute for Peace in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Mr. Najeeb Freji, by videoconference.

The Undersecretary expressed his interest in meeting and communicating with specialized international institutes, especially the International Peace Institute, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation and exchange of experiences, as well as holding seminars and events in all fields.

For his part, Mr. Freji spoke about the importance of cooperation with Iraqi institutions, and there is a serious desire for cooperation between the International Institute and the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as he had previously visited Iraq during the preceding period and held meetings with a number of officials.
