Ministry’s Senior Undersecretary Receives Turkish Ambassador in Baghdad

The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nizar Al Khairallah received on September 9, 2021, the Turkish Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Ali Riza Konay.

The two sides discussed ways to develop relations between the two friendly countries in various political, economic and security aspects.

 The Undersecretary affirmed Iraq’s keenness to strengthen the strategic relations of friendship and cooperation with the Republic of Turkey in light of the common interests between the two countries.

During the meeting, importance of activating the signed agreements between Iraq and Turkey in all fields and overcoming the obstacles to enhance bilateral economic cooperation was discussed.

The two parties discussed granting possible facilities to obtain entry visas, especially for the investors and businessmen from both sides.
