Minister of Foreign Affairs receives copy of credentials of new Mauritanian Ambassador to Baghdad

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Fuad Hussein received on Sunday 5/9/2021 a copy of the credentials of the Mauritanian Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Al Hassan Mohammed Aliyat.

The Minister wished Mr. Aliyat success in his diplomatic mission in Baghdad, expressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all support for the success of his mission, pointing to the necessity of work and cooperation in to serve the two brotherly countries.

For his part, Mr. Aliyat affirmd his country’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between Baghdad and Nouakchott, directing an official invitation from the President of the Republic of Mauritania to his Excellency the President of the Republic of Iraq; Mr. Barham Salih to visit Nouakchott, and another invitation by the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs to his Excellency Minister of Foreign Affairs of  Iraq; Mr. Fuad Hussein.
