Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Meets Azerbaijani Chargé d’Affairs in Iraq

Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al Sahaf,met on September 2, 2021, the Azerbaijani Chargé d’Affairs in Iraq, Mr. NaseerMamdov.

During the meeting, they discussed relations between Baghdad and Baku, within the framework of media coordination and capacity building.

Al Sahaf expressed his thanks and appreciation to the government and people of Azerbaijan for supporting Iraq in confronting terrorism, and providing medical aid to confront the Corona pandemic.

The two sides stressed the necessity of exchanging media experiences between the two ministries, cooperating and training media cadres, and exchanging visits.
