Head of Department of Arab Affairs Meets Ambassador of Egypt to Iraq

The Acting Head of the Department of Arab Affairs, Mr. Osama Mahdi Ghanem, met with the Ambassador of Egypt to Iraq, Mr. Walid Muhammad Ismail.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations, and ways to improve prospects for cooperation between Baghdad and Cairo.

The Head of the Department of Arab Affairs expressed Iraq’s keenness to support Iraqi-Egyptian relations towards achieving a strategic partnership in a way that meets the aspirations and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, and achieves their common interests in progress, prosperity, and development, pointing out Iraq’s keenness to enhance joint economic cooperation with Egypt in the framework of the government’s efforts to rebuild Iraq, expressing Iraq’s aspiration to use Egyptian companies and expertise to participate in reconstruction projects.
