Head of Arab Department meets Tunisian Ambassador to Baghdad

The Acting Head of the Arab Department, Mr. Osama Mahdi Ghanem, met on Thursday 5/8/2021 the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Baghdad, Mr. Redha Zkaidan. During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the latest developments in the Republic of Tunis and the decisions of the Tunisian President Mr. Kais Saied, according to which the work of the Parliament was suspended for a month and the Prime Minister and a number of its members were removed. 

The Head of Arab Department affirmed Iraq’s keenness on the security and stability of Tunisia, wishing prosperity to the Arab peoples, including the brotherly Tunisia, expressing his aspiration that the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tunisia would witness more cooperation and coordination.
