Statement by Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahhaf

Following up on what has been circulated about the incident attack on an Iraqi citizen arriving in Lebanon through Rafic Hariri International Airport, Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Beirut contacted the concerned Lebanese security authorities to figure out the circumstances of the incident, which turned out to be only an individual dispute due to the jostling of long queues passengers arriving at the airport.

The Director General of Lebanese Security issued instructions to facilitate all procedures for Iraqis entering Lebanon easily and smoothly according to the procedures used.
