Head of the International Organizations and Conferences Department mMeets the Japanese Ambassador to Baghdad

Dr. Abbas Kazem Obaid, Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences, On Monday, July 21, 2021 met with Mr. Suzuki Kotaro, Ambassador of Japan to Baghdad.

The two sides praised the depth of the bilateral and historical relations. They also discussed means of cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the international organizations, and issues of common interest as well as mutual support for obtaining international positions, looking forward to developing this cooperation and coordination.

Mr. Obaid praised the assistance provided by the Government of Japan to Iraq. For his part, the Ambassador of Japan thanked the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the support and facilities they provided to the Japanese Embassy in Baghdad.
