Senior Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Iraq meets the Japanese Ambassador to Baghdad

The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Nizar Al-Khairallah, met the Japanese Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Suzuki Kotaro, during the meeting a number of issues of common interest were discussed, the most important of which was the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries to enhance distinguished bilateral relations, as well as the importance of the Japanese participation in the observation teams to the parliamentary elections scheduled next October, the Japanese appreciation to the efforts of Iraq and its active diplomacy to reduce tension in the region in order to achieve security and stability, and the importance of the Japanese support to these efforts. The two sides also discussed strengthening cooperation in combating the Corona virus pandemic.
