Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives a Copy of Credentials of New Somali Ambassador to Baghdad

On June 1st, 2021, Foreign Minister, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Baghdad, H.E. Mr. Liban Shikh Mohamud.
During the ceremony, the Minister expressed his wishes for the Ambassador to succeed in his diplomatic duties in Baghdad, expressing the readiness of the Ministry to provide all support for the success of the diplomatic mission, pointing to the necessity of work and cooperation to serve the two brotherly countries.
For his part, Mr. Mohamud affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with Baghdad to achieve common interests and bring prosperity to the region, expressing his appreciation for Iraq’s support for the Somali mission operating in Baghdad.
