Undersecretary for Political Planning Meets Georgian Ambassador to Iraq

On 25 May 2021, the Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs Dr. Salih Al-Tamimi met the Georgian ambassador in Baghdad, H.E. Mr. Zaza Kandelaki and his assistant, in the presence of the ambassador, head of the Europe department in the ministry, Ambassador Abdul Karim Kaab.

During the meeting, they discussed the issue of facilitating granting mutual entry visas to the citizens of the two countries and the importance of this issue in developing relations between them to achieve their common interests.

The two sides reviewed the situation of the Iraqi community in Georgia, which includes students and residents there, as well as the situation of Georgians in Iraq.
